About Me

What's my personal story?

I love sexy romances and always have. I like reading them. I like writing them. I like living them.

I remember years ago that I read a historical romance where the hero spanked the heroine, and I thought, I liked that part. Why did he promise to never do that again? Maybe she'd like him to. 😉 So I suppose it's no surprise that I eventually gravitated toward stories that featured elements of domination and submission, domestic discipline, and other kinks. 

In 2013, I wrote two stories. One was about a woman who wanted her husband to dominate her and about how their life evolved once he did. It wasn't a long story, only about 10,000 words. I polished it, created a cover for it, and even had it formatted. Then I wrote a full length novel about a private BDSM club and polished that. But with two stories ready, I decided I wasn't sure I was prepared to be a published author. So I set the stories aside in a folder on my laptop and left them alone.

Fast forward to this year when I got the urge to write a prequel to the story about the BDSM club. When I did, it opened the flood gates to reading a lot of erotic romances and writing several more. Finally, when I had 5 stories finished and a couple of others well on their way, I decided to submit a story to an online publisher that I buy a lot of books from.

The wonderful publisher accepted my first story, which I expanded at their suggestion. Now I'm on my way. And I feel quite excited to see my books released. Not too much longer, world!

Hello, fellow readers of kinky fiction :)

If you haven't read any of Trent Evans's work yet, I want to highly recommend it to you. He's one of my favorite authors. I started with his Surrender Valley series, which I will do a separate post on, and then started to work my way backward. (Isn't it fantastic when you find a writer whose work you love and he or she has a backlist? Best thing ever!)

Her Troika is the story of a woman's journey into submission not just to her Master, but to a secret society as a whole. She becomes a filly--so get ready for super sexy pony play--and is trained by a very firm handler whose unapologetic style is completely delicious.

She has a husband who adores and protects her from everything...except the things that she doesn't want to be protected from. ;) She is interested in letting go of control in the most fundamental way. She is prepared and eager to be sold at auction to the highest bidder as part of a ritual of a secret society of Dominants. The gorgeous and sexy world in Her Troika kept me up late at night reading because I had to find out how far these characters would go. SO worth it!

#Spanking Romances that I 💖

I read this story by Renee Rose a couple years ago. It was one of the first official "spanking romances" I'd read, and it was so great. It's about a woman who's been longing for a little heat in her life in the form of a good hard spanking. She meets a man, a Marine, who's up to the task.

The brief encounter leaves her wanting more, and she gets more... & more than she bargained for. Great suspense + great writing + spanking hot sex. A definite re-read for me.

Coming Together *cheeky smile*

It's human nature to want to be part of a community of like-minded souls. I certainly feel that way as a writer. When it comes to alternative lifestyles, there are sex clubs and online communities that allow people who practice an alternative lifestyle to come together. Pun intended ;)  And those places & forums have been on my mind.

Recently, I read a great set of stories that were set in a community where people lived together and practiced their lifestyle that included domestic discipline and husbands dominating, displaying, and sometimes sharing their pretty wives. (I'm going to talk more about books I'm reading and loving in other posts.) 

I liked the idea of a semi-private community of kinksters  so much that I created my own community called Haywood Hills where neighbors are friends and support each other in their secret, sexy pursuits. The first story in the series, Laci's Struggle, is one I hope to share soon. 

Today though, I just want to say that I'm really happy that other authors are writing their stories about strong, stern men and their sometimes sassy, submissive girls. I'm looking forward to becoming part of the community that dishes out spanking romances.
